About Dr. Satsangi
Dr. Arpan Satsangi was born and brought up in San Antonio. He completed his medical school and urology residency here as well. He has a desire to serve the city that raised him. Dr. Satsangi’s philosophy of care is to treat patients as if they were his own family member. Having been a patient of urology prior to his medical training and having been a family member of a loved one undergoing their own medical needs, he understands sometimes medical care can feel overwhelming and patients can feel lost in the process. As he and his patients go on the healthcare journey together, he takes great pride in trying to help his patients understand their condition and treatment options. Paramount in this is his philosophy that the patient has a central voice in their care; he views himself as a sherpa guiding them through the process with the most up-to-date knowledge at hand.
In his free time, Dr. Satsangi has an insatiable curiosity and desire to solve problems. He loves to read and learn about new topics as a hobby, including far away from the world of medicine. Over his career, he has been very fortunate to have won numerous awards for his scientific research, which he continues to pursue in his free time. He also adores animals and loves spending time with his pet dog and bird.
